What to bring:

  • Identification (Driver’s License or passport)
  • Corrective lenses (glasses/contacts if you wear them)
  • List of medications that you take
  • CPAP Machine results (if you have sleep apnea and currently use a CPAP machine)
  • You may need to bring medical records or clearance letter(s) from physician if you have certain conditions. Give us a call if you have any questions!
 
*Note: Make sure you are hydrated! You will need to provide a urine sample

 

What to expect during a DOT Exam:

  • Vision check 
  • Hearing (whisper test)
  • Peripheral vision
  • Blood pressure
  • Urine sample
  • Height and Weight check
  • Lung, Heart, Abdominal, and Vascular Exam
  • Reflex and Range of Motion
  • Vestibular (balance) assessment
  • More focused evaluations based on history and examination findings
